week of 5/3/10

The students will have a comprehension test on "Arachne" on Monday, May 3rd. They will have a test on Wednesday on comprehension skills that we have been doing all year. We will be starting a story called"Why the Tortoise's Shell is Not Smooth." We will be visiting the high school on Friday and eating our lunch there. The cost of the lunch will be taken from their regular lunch account. Have a great weekend!

The students have a test on folk tales and fables on Tuesday. We will be working on analogies all week. They will have a test on analogies on Friday. Have a great week!

The students will have a comprehension test on Monday, April 19th on the play "The Phantom Tollbooth." We will be working on folktales all week. They will have a Distance Learning program on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Science Fair is on Wednesday and Thursday. Have a great week!!!

On Monday and Tuesday we will be doing some PSSA prep work. PSSA tests will be given on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Please make sure your child is well rested, eats breakfast and comes to school. Please discuss the importance of them doing their best. Thank you! Have a great week!

We will have a test on Poetry on Monday, March 29th. We will be doing a play called "The Phantom Tollbooth" on Tuesday. Starting on Wednesday, we will be practicing our PSSA skills. We have no school on Friday, April 2nd. Have a great Easter!

Test on Poetry on Wednesday, March 24th. We will be going on the field trip to the Franklin Institute on Thursday, March 25th. We will be leaving at 7:00 a.m. and returning at 5:00 p.m. Students need to have a ride to and from school on that day. Please have your students at the lower level high school parking lot by 6:45 a.m. Parents can park in that parking lot closer to the dock, away from the pool area. Thank you!
