week of 10/11/10

Monday, October 11th is an inservice day - No school for students! Tuesday, October 12th is anAct 80 Day - No school for students. On Thursday, October 14th, the students will have a test on "My Papa, Mark Twain" and "Stage Fright." On Friday, October 15th, the students will have a test on the PSSA terms paper that they received on Tuesday, October 5th. Enjoy the four day weekend!!!

Week of 10/4/10

The students will have a test on the two monkey stories on Monday, October 4th.
We will start two new stories on Tuesday. They are "My Papa, Mark Twain" and "Stage Fright."
We will have a pep rally on Friday. No school for students on Monday and Tuesday, October 11th and 12th. Have a great weekend!!

Week of 9/27/10

We are working on two stories about monkeys. One is fiction and one is nonfiction. The students will have a test on Friday, October 1st. We will also have a "Bullying" program on Friday. Hope you have a great weekend and a great week!

The students will have a test on the story "Drive-In Movies" on Tuesday, September 21st. We will be starting two stories about moneys. One is fiction and one is nonfiction. Have a great week! The students are great!

Week of 9/13/10

The students will have a comprehension test on Monday on the story "Stray." There were printer issues so it had to be postponed. They are also working on a story map of "Stray." It is due on Wednesday, the 15th. We will have Math 4Sight testing on Tuesday and Reading 4Sight testing on Wednesday. Please make sure they get a good night's sleep and have a good breakfast. On Tuesday, we will be starting a new story called"Drive-In Movies." Have a Great weekend!!!

I hope you have a great Labor Day weekend. Good luck to both the Frackville and Ashland football teams and cheerleaders! We are working on the story called "Stray." They will have a test on this story on Friday, September 10th. Pictures are on Thursday, September 9th. Have a great week!
