Week of 9/27/10

We are working on two stories about monkeys. One is fiction and one is nonfiction. The students will have a test on Friday, October 1st. We will also have a "Bullying" program on Friday. Hope you have a great weekend and a great week!

week of 9/20/10

The students will have a test on the story "Drive-In Movies" on Tuesday, September 21st. We will be starting two stories about moneys. One is fiction and one is nonfiction. Have a great week! The students are great!

Week of 9/13/10

The students will have a comprehension test on Monday on the story "Stray." There were printer issues so it had to be postponed. They are also working on a story map of "Stray." It is due on Wednesday, the 15th. We will have Math 4Sight testing on Tuesday and Reading 4Sight testing on Wednesday. Please make sure they get a good night's sleep and have a good breakfast. On Tuesday, we will be starting a new story called"Drive-In Movies." Have a Great weekend!!!

Week of 9/7/10

Week of 8/30/10

Week of 5/24/10

Sixth grade is very busy this week. The carnival is on Monday, May 24th. Dress code - gym attire. On Wednesday, May 26th, we will have a veterans program and we will be putting flags at the cemetery. Sixth Grade Graduation is on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., Students need to be there by 6:15 and graduation begins at 6:30 p.m. The sixth grade picnic will be on Friday, May 28th. The students can wear gym attire. Each child is to bring in $2.50 for the picnic. This will help defray the cost. Thank you! Have a great weekend!

The students had a Teens Against Tobacco program on Monday. We are working on folk tales. They will have a test on Wednesday on The tortoise and wishes stories. We will practice comprehension skills on Thursday and have a test on Friday. Have a great week.
